“4 Decades From The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson”
For those of you who watched “The Tonight Show” as a regular viewer, or a casual one, this great 15-disc set will take you back in time to when Johnny Carson ruled late night. Carson became the host of “The Tonight Show” in 1962. Along with his sidekick Ed McMahon, Carson introduced memorable characters and very funny sketches. The beauty of the show arose from Carson's way of interviewing his wide range of guests.
This great set covers four decades of shows and includes more than 30 hours of material never before released on DVD. There are clips from 50 shows, an hour of classic recovered vignettes and new interviews with guests recounting their memories of appearing on “The Tonight Show.”

Stephen Sondheim is a Broadway legend, master composer and lyricist. David Hyde Pierce hosts this tribute event, filmed live at Avery Fisher Hall in New York City. Many of the original cast members perform their songs with the assistance of the New York Philharmonic. So you will see Patti LuPone from “Company” and “Sweeney Todd,” Bernadette Peters and Mandy Patinkin from “Sunday in the Park with George,” Audra McDonald from “Follies” and “A Little Night Music” and many others.
It's a wonderful concert filled with two dozen sensational numbers.

Andy Williams had very loyal viewers who watched his Emmy Award-winning television show for nine years. This three-disc set includes 18 of Williams' favorite songs including “Moon River,” “Dear Heart,” “The Shadow of Your Smile” and “Love Story.” It also includes his duets with Tony Bennett, Judy Garland, Ray Charles, Lena Horne and many other musical greats. In addition, the collection showcases the best of his Christmas shows and appearances by Henry Mancini, Al Hirt, Peter, Paul and Mary and Simon & Garfunkel, along with an interview with Johnny Mathis.
