Naperville District 203 students continue to excel
Naperville District 203 Class of 2011 students ACT scores tied for 6th place in Illinois even though the district spends considerably less than many Illinois districts, according to the annual analysis "What is the Best Educational Value in Chicagoland?" conducted by QualityEducation203.org
We find it significant that the five higher performing school districts spend, on average, $4300 more per pupil than D203, a huge differential. There's not a school district whose students post higher ACT scores but spends less then D203 in the Chicago area. Conversely, there are many, many comparable districts that spend more, but whose students do not achieve the same level of academic achievement.
The analysis, located at QE203.org, takes an in-depth look at 14 top school districts in the Chicago area as well as providing discussion and links to all the national and local educational studies that mention D203.
