Mayor Pradel Invites Community to Be Part of 2010 Holiday Card
Mayor A. George Pradel invites all Naperville residents to be part of the 2010 City of Naperville holiday card by participating in a photo shoot at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26. The photo shoot will take place outside of the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle St., at an exact location to be determined.
Participants will be grouped together and photographed in the form of a holiday message. The photo will be taken from the roof of the Naperville Municipal Center to allow as many residents as possible to be included and take part in this community initiative. Mayor Pradel invites people of all ages, especially children, to participate. Residents should plan on arriving 15 minutes prior to receive further instructions. No special attire is needed.
“Naperville is a community that comes together time and time again to support and encourage each other,” Mayor A. George Pradel said. “We're telling the world that Naperville is a city that promotes peace on Earth, peace throughout our nation, and peace right here at home. I especially encourage all of our young people to come out and help make the 2010 holiday card a community message from all of us.”
