Milwaukee Avenue ramp open

The westbound entrance and eastbound exit ramps at the Milwaukee Avenue interchange on the Tri-State Tollway are reopened to traffic.

The project included reconstructing the westbound entrance and eastbound exit ramps and required complete closure of the interchange throughout construction with a detour route via Grand Avenue. The ramp improvements were completed on schedule and within budget. according to Kristi Lafleur, the tollway's executive director.

About 5,000 vehicles use the ramps daily.
