Election a start at reversing damage
The election is over, and the American people have spoken or should I say shouted. The biggest shake-up in 72 years, at every level of government, and a clear rebuke of the Obama administration.
This country plainly stated that they do not want more and more government intrusion into their lives; they do not want an overblown health care program that will set up 156 government agencies, each one bloated with overpriced staff; they want the Constitution to be strictly adhered too, and a clear understanding of how the free enterprise system works, and an administration that encourages business every day instead of the constant drumbeat of criticism.
And “We the people” would like a president who will be proud of this great nation, instead of constantly telling our friends and enemies around the world how bad we are, and that we are not a world leader anymore. My suggestion would be that if our president does not wish to promote the U.S. around the world that he stay home and save the money.
And let's hope the administration learned that Americans hate backroom deals, 2,500-page bills that are jammed through before they are even read, unlimited and reckless spending on all sorts of favorite projects that produce no jobs, and no attempt being made to reign in the national debt, which could come close to destroying our economy.
Yes, the American people spoke loud and clear. The damage done to our country has been huge but it's not to late to reverse it. The election was a good start. Let's keep working at it.
