Bush should be sick he rushed to war

George Bush still doesn't get it. In his new memoir, “Decision Points,” Bush states that he feels bad no weapons of mass destruction were found in Iraq. That statement is irrational.

Think of how much more damage could have been done if they had existed. Bush should be glad Saddam didn't have WMD. What should be giving him the sickening feeling is that he didn't listen to all the people who advised him to wait. He should be sick that he acted on his “moral convictions” (i.e. gut), and not on credible evidence.

He should be sick that he didn't listen to his father, that he didn't listen to the European leaders, that he didn't listen to the International inspectors on the ground in Iraq, that he wouldn't even talk to the mainstream religious leaders of the day. He should be sick that he listened to Dick Cheney and the neocons.

He should be sick that he rushed to war.
