Police seek man who robbed Naperville bank
Naperville police and the FBI are searching for a man who robbed a Naperville bank.
A man wearing a camouflage mask and armed with a weapon held up the Oxford Bank and Trust at 1260 Book Road just before 6 p.m. Monday, police said.
The lone male walked into the bank, displayed a gun, and instructed the teller to give him cash, said FBI spokeswoman Cynthia Yates.
After getting the cash, Yates said, the gunman then told the teller to let him into the vault. Employees did, and after taking more money, he fled the bank on foot out the back door, Yates said.
The suspect is described as a 5-foot-6 inch man with a thin build, weighing about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, light jeans, and was wearing a camouflage mask over his face, according to descriptions from the Naperville police and the FBI.
