Tax increase notice must be joke

So I’m reading the Daily Herald on Saturday when I come across a notice entitled: “NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX INCREASE FOR BARRINGTON COMMUNITY UNIT SCHOOL DISTRICT 220.”

The final statement in the notice reads: “The estimated total property taxes to be levied for 2010 are $120,344,021. This represents a 6.9 percent increase over the previous year.”
