Political litter lingers too long

Apparently the Republican disdain for federal regulations also applies to state and local laws and ordinances. There are laws against having signs on public byways. While candidates for both parties often display signs inappropriately, the abuse by Dold, Kirk and Curren was extreme.

Their signs littered Rt. 21, Rt. 137, Butterfield, Green Bay and every other major road (except in downtown Libertyville, where the village enforced the law.) I find it particularly interesting that Mark Curren, who supposedly represents law enforcement in Lake County, was one of the most flagrant that I saw ignoring of the law. Now, when will these signs be removed?
