Grainger sees October sales increase
Lake Forest-based W.W. Grainger today reported daily sales increased 11 percent, compared to October 2009. Results for the month included a 1 percent contribution from acquisitions and a 1 percent contribution from foreign exchange.
Excluding acquisitions and foreign exchange, daily sales for the company increased 9 percent.
W.W. Grainger, Inc. with 2009 sales of $6.2 billion is North America's leading broad line supplier of maintenance, repair and operating products with an expanding presence in Asia and Latin America.
