Gol to buy 30 Boeing 737-800s for $2.7 billion
Gol Linhas Aereas Inteligentes SA entered into a pact to buy 30 Boeing Co. 737-800 aircraft for $2.7 billion, the company's president, Constantino de Oliveira Jr., said on a conference call with journalists.
The aircraft should be delivered between 2014 and 2017, and Gol will decide how to finance the buy around 2013, Constantino said. The company may also sell debt to fund aircraft deliveries due next year, he said.
With the order, Gol has 104 firm orders and 40 options for 737 aircraft.
