Local Doctor Holds Community Health Talk To Discuss Shoulder Pain

While many people know of someone who has found pain relief from hip or knee replacement, fewer may be familiar with the benefits of shoulder replacement. However, shoulder replacement, also known as shoulder arthoplasty, is the third most common joint replacement after knees and hips.

Local doctor, Matthew D. Saltzman (Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine) will be holding a community health talk (CHT) on Friday, December 3rd at 1:30pm, to discuss shoulder pain, treatment options, and specifically the risks and benefits of shoulder arthoplasty. The CHT will be held at Gorton Community Center, Community Room. To RSVP for the event, call 1-877-585-0125.
