Man shot at Aurora motel
A Chicago man was injured in a shooting at a Motel 6 on Farnsworth Drive Tuesday evening, police officials confirmed.
The 28-year-old was at the motel when two other men arrived and shot him, said Lt. Pete Inda of the Aurora Police Department. The man was taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated for a non-life threatening wound and released, Inda said.
Police are still working to identify the shooters, Inda said.
Inda added it remains unclear at this time if the shooting was gang related. He said the incident remains under investigation.
