Hartstein a major embarrassment for BG

Quoting Mayor Elliott Hartstein on page 8 from the Nov. 3 Daily Herald, “I'm saddened the community had to go through this particular experience.”

Is he talking about the recall of Trustee Lisa Stone or the picture of himself doing a parody of Stone wearing a wig and mimicking her at a rally for supporters celebrating her recall from office?

For the record, we do not personally know Lisa Stone. However, as residents of Buffalo Grove for the past 29 years, we are embarrassed and outraged that our community leader would resort to this type of juvenile behavior.

His other quotes, “I was just having a little fun” and “I knew Lisa wouldn't be here so I stood in for her” are unprofessional and show no class or respect. Anything short of an apology from Mayor Hartstein to our community and Lisa Stone is unacceptable.
