Stone should still fight for what's right

On Nov. 2, I voted against the recall amendment to the Illinois Constitution. I had previously supported this, until I saw the antics in Buffalo Grove and what a recall frenzy can do.

I have to clarify that I live in Wheeling. However, it appears that Lisa Trustee Stone had just upset the “good 'ol boy network” in Buffalo Grove. Those in office didn't want to be questioned and pushed for her recall.

Congratulations, you won! You were so proud in winning that Mayor Elliott Hartstein had to celebrate by mocking Lisa Stone. Apologize as much as you want, but what you did was shameful, but mostly unprofessional. You are an elected official, Mr. Hartstein, but acted like a 2-year-old who just got his way.

I invite Lisa Stone to move to Wheeling and fight for what she believes is right. She will have my vote!
