Dancenter North to host a Clara Tea to celebrate 'Nutcracker'

Join Dancenter North in celebrating its 22nd annual production of “The Magic of the Nutcracker” at a special Clara Tea from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at Trattoria Pomigliano, 602 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville.

At this event, which is geared toward young girls and their families, children can enjoy a storyteller, refreshments, and a chance to meet Clara and several of her “Nutcracker” friends. There will be opportunities for photos, so caregivers are encouraged to bring their cameras. In addition, there will be a raffle drawing where attendees will have the chance to win prizes.

Tickets for the tea cost $18 and can be purchased by calling Dancenter North at (847) 367-7970. Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Dancenter North will present “The Magic of the Nutcracker” at 3 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, and 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, at Libertyville High School's Butler Auditorium, 708 W. Park Ave. For tickets, call Dancenter North at (847) 367-7970.
