Axiom marks 18 years of patient recruitment

Libertyville-based Axiom Accelerated Patient Recruitment, a division of Axiom Marketing Inc., recently celebrated 18 years in the patient recruitment business. The firm develops custom patient recruitment programs for both domestic and international pharmaceutical companies.

“Axiom specializes in accelerating the recruitment of hard-to-reach patient populations in the U.S.,” Michael T. Keegan, Axiom president and chief operating officer, said in a statement. “Our job is to identify the right target audience, create a campaign designed specifically to reach that group of potential participants, then motivate them to respond with a compelling call-to-action.”

There are three critical drivers for Axiom. First, the company has always been on the leading edge of emerging technologies, finding unique ways to strategically integrate new media into traditional patient recruitment techniques. The second is Axiom's ability to identify and pre-qualify potential patients, thereby accelerating the recruitment process. Third – and perhaps most important of all – is how Axiom works with clients to meet the unique needs of each study.

Over the last 18 years, Axiom has managed patient recruitment and retention campaigns for major pharmaceutical companies, CRO's and investigators on a local, regional and national level. During that period, the company has gained experience in several therapeutic areas, including CNS/neurology, cardiology, respiratory and oral health care.
