There are ways to protect pets

Dogs and cats are being abused way too much. Have you noticed in the news that dogs and cats are not being treated fairly by their owners? Watching this or reading about it makes it hard, because I can't believe people would actually want to do this to their pets. I always see those commercials with pictures of broken-hearted dogs and cats and of the bad conditions they are in. I always cry or am sad when I see their poor faces and I always want to help.

Save-a-Pet is a great place! They help all cats and dogs that have been abused or abandoned by their owners and help them find a great owner who loves and will take care of them. You can contribute money or volunteer to help at the shelter. I hope you all have a heart and care for animals and would never be the bad one and abuse them or abandon them.

Even though it is a tough economy, people don't have to think they have to abandon their animals. There are ways to reach out for help so that more animals can have happy homes.
