Bright Hope charity wins top tier rating
Hoffman Estates-based Bright Hope, which serves people who live on less than $1 a day, has been awarded its fifth consecutive 4-star rating for its ability to efficiently manage and grow its finances. The award came from Charity Navigator, the country's largest independent evaluator of charities.
Only 5 percent of those reviewed have received five consecutive 4-star ratings.
“Bright Hope International consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way, and outperforms most other charities in America,” said Charity Navigator CEO Ken Berger. “This exceptional designation from Charity Navigator differentiates Bright Hope International from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust.”
Bright Hope is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) and abides by all of its established accounting standards.
