Marcyan represents change for county

We need leadership at the County level.

As a lifelong Highland Park resident, I have long sought leadership from our community on many issues important to me. My biggest complaint has been the continual increase in property taxes the past few years despite my decreasing property value. I've seen plenty of promises from politicians claiming they are addressing the issue, and yet every time I see my bill, it's larger than the bill that came before it.

What we've lacked for years is the will at the County Board to address these issues and take leadership to spur local politicians to lower their tax demands. It's time we had someone represent us on the County Board, someone who is not there for political reasons but rather to serve us.

I believe Carl Marcyan can be that breath of fresh air, and as a result I will be supporting him and his efforts to provide new leadership for our community.
