Booras would be independent voice

County board candidate Mark Booras offers a unique combination of business and social service experience that would benefit McHenry County.

Mark holds a bachelor's degree in Management and Business from Barat College of DePaul. He was one of three county residents to pass the 2010 State Board of Review exam, which requires knowledge of taxation, assessment and revenue processes.

Since moving to McHenry County over a decade ago, Mark has volunteered with PADS and AWANAS youth ministry. He is currently a youth mentor at the Youth Service Bureau.

He is motivated by a sense of service and openness to his constituents and would be a new, independent voice on the county board.
