Enough is enough, Ruth

Shame on the Illinois Republican Party and Ruth Munson for sending out those nasty mailers accusing Rep. Keith Farnham of doing nothing to correct a school funding formula flaw that has cost U-46 millions of dollars and would have brought an additional $22 million in state funding to the district this year.

I am glad the Daily Herald set the record straight about all Farnham did to try to persuade the governor to sign the bill, even hand delivering letters in support of the legislation to Quinn's then Chief of Staff Jerome Stermer. The reality is Munson didn't even recognize the problem during her seven years down in Springfield and now is lying about Farnham's record to try to distort the truth and confuse voters. Enough is enough. I expect to see a sincere apology from Munson and her Republican cronies.

This is exactly the kind of politics that we are all tired of. We do not need politicians like Ruth Munson who are willing to do or say anything to get a taxpayer-funded pension.

Say, “No more career politicians” to Ruth Munson.
