Traffic narrows on Randall, Bowes in Elgin
Construction of commercial entrances on Bowes Road and on Randall Road for the new Walmart store at the south end of Elgin is scheduled to begin on Monday.
Construction of the widened roadway and new driveways will require periodic one-lane closures on Bowes between Umbdenstock Road and Reserve Drive and on Randall between College Green Drive and Hopps Road between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays only.
The work is expected to be complete next September.
