Sente working hard to fix government

Growing up, I always attended public school that made me feel proud and privileged to live in the United States and the state of Illinois. But now that I am of voting age, I find it distressing that our once-proud state of Illinois is no longer the honest Land of Lincoln it used to be. Corruption and the politicians that feed off of it have now taken the main stage and destroyed what was once a proud political culture.

Luckily, Carol Sente has worked to eliminate unethical practices. I support her plan to implement mandatory jail time for politicians who commit serious ethics violations and take their pensions away.

As a young adult preparing to enter the working world, I don't want to have any of my hard-earned money used to pad the pockets of crooked politicians. Carol Sente knows the state can't spend more money than it has and will root out corruption and set a spending limit on government each year.
