Nominate someone for Arlington Heights Hearts of Gold

Arlington Heights is seeking nominations for its Hearts of Gold awards.

People who live or work in the village will be honored for making a difference in the lives of others with activities that merit recognition for effort and dedication.

The nomination deadline is 5 p.m. Nov. 10.

Forms can be filled out online at vah.com by clicking on the Hearts of Gold button on the right side of the website.

The Hearts of Gold Award categories include Mentor, Beautification, Best Neighbor, Educator, Young at Heart, Young Champion, Volunteer, City of Good Neighbors, Pam Stocking Heart of Gold, Business Leader and Heroic. A description of each award category is with the nomination forms.

This year's Hearts of Gold Awards Dinner will be held Feb. 12 at European Crystal, 519 W. Algonquin Road. The event is open to anyone who wishes to participate.
