Baseball facility debuts in Lake Zurich

LAKE ZURICH -- Go Hardball Training Academy announced its grand opening in the Lake Zurich industrial park at 100 Oakwood Road, just behind 7-Eleven off Route 22.

The training facility opens Saturday, Oct. 30. Jimmy Karr, Tony Feo and Kate Mitchum are the owners of the new academy.

“Go Hardball Training Academy is pared down to the essentials necessary for top-of-the-line baseball and softball instruction,” Karr said. Go Hardball's goal is to make baseball training accessible to athletes of all ages and abilities.

“Our goal is to provide a positive environment in which to train, encourage and advance our athletes in their pursuit of learning the game of baseball, whether recreational or competitive,” the owners said.
