This is no time for Obama to campaign
We have many problems in this country. We are still in the midst of a deep recession, many people are unemployed, the housing market is still a disaster, the immigration problem gets worse with each passing year and the deficit is growing by leaps and bounds. There are still troops in Iraq, and the fighting in Afghanistan continues with no end in sight. American soldiers are still dying there. We continue to pour money into both countries. There is much work to be done.
So what is President Obama doing? He is doing what he does best, campaigning. In case you don't remember that's what he did most of the time he was senator, he campaigned for president. You can check it out. He rarely voted in the Senate during the last two years of his four-year term. Now, with so many problems facing this nation, he is campaigning for Democrats running for various offices around the country, and we are footing the bill. I don't know what it costs to fire up Air Force One, but I know it's a lot. Taxpayer money certainly shouldn't be spent for campaign purposes.
