Lake County District 19: Taylor
Lake County Board Republican incumbent Craig Taylor of Lake Zurich receives the Daily Herald's endorsement for District 19.
Taylor understands big business from his 40 years of work experience, a plus to the daily operations of county government.
He is mindful of cutting unnecessary spending and devotes full attention to his position on the county and forest boards.
With no political experience, Lake Zurich Democratic opponent Roberta Potempa would like lower property taxes, infrastructure improvements and a small-business approach to county government.
