DuPage County, District 4: McBride
In DuPage County Board District 4, Republican incumbent Jerry “JR" McBride, a Glen Ellyn insurance broker, faces Democrat Tom Wendorf, a retired business owner from Glen Ellyn.
Wendorf is a strong challenger who has good ideas about reducing costs on the county board.
However, McBride gets our endorsement due to a proven track record of not being shy to challenge the status quo on the county board. He vows to stay on task for watching county finances by “identifying and ending unnecessary expenses and positions."
The district covers most of Glen Ellyn, Glendale Heights and Wheaton as well as portions of Carol Stream, Lombard and Winfield and a sliver of Bloomingdale.
