Haunted scout hike
The Three Fires Council of the Boy Scouts of America will host its 20th annual Haunted Hike on Oct. 22, 23, 29 and 30 at Camp Big Timber, 37W955 Big Timber Road, Elgin.
Admission for the three-quarter-mile hike is $12 for the general public and $7 for Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts in uniform.
Hours are 7 to 11 p.m. on Fridays and 6:30 to 11 p.m. on Saturdays.
Kiddie Hikes also are offered from 1:30 to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. Youth admission is $6, while adults get in free. For details, call (630) 584-9250, ext. 69, or visit tfchauntedhike.org to print a $2 off flier.
