Walsh a picture of fiscal irresponsibility
I am somewhat shocked that Mr. Walsh is running for a position in the United States Congress under the guise of being “fiscally responsible" when quite frankly his own record of fiscal responsibility is abominable.
Mr. Walsh had a home foreclosed on while a few months after the foreclosure he lent his campaign $33,000 or so in personal funds. Mr. Walsh has bounced a number of checks to campaign aides and has exhibited, if one looks at his record, the pattern of reckless fiscal irresponsibility.
I do realize that these are tough times for everyone in the United States and all citizens are struggling to make ends meet; however, I cannot fathom electing someone in this time of financial crisis who has a monetary track record like Mr. Walsh's.
I urge the constituents of our district to look into this gentleman's prior fiscal dealings. In addition, he ran in the 1990s as a “social issues liberal Republican and now, like a chameleon, has changed colors and has become a “Bible-thumping social conservative.
In this day and age with all the challenges that present us, we as a nation cannot afford to elect someone as irresponsible and untrustworthy as Mr. Walsh. Every time I talk to a Republican I am beaten over the head with the term “fiscal responsibility yet I am asked to vote for Mr. Walsh, the exact opposite of that dear term.
