Carpentersville VFW has Oktoberfest dinner

The Carpentersville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5915 and its auxiliaries will be hosting an Oktoberfest dinner from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at 301 Lake Marian Road, Carpentersville.

Price is $10 per person. Children ages 5 to 11 eat for half price and kids 4 and younger eat for free. Homemade German meals will be served with proceeds going to the VFW.
