Kid-friendly Halloween event in Wheeling

A spook-tacularly fun time is planned for kids at the free Halloween BOO-Nanza 1-3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, at the Wheeling Park District Community Recreation Center, 333 W. Dundee Road.

Geared especially for children ages 10 years and younger, this event features a bonanza of Halloween activities, including pumpkin decorating, candy hunt in the straw maze, a gym filled with giant kid-friendly inflatables, spooky storytelling, popcorn snacks, and other attractions.
