Scouting the Wizards: The Wizards (9-11-6, 33 points), are just a point better than the Fire but with a game in hand. As a result, the Wizards still hold out hope for the playoffs, but they need a victory here. Veteran defender Jimmy Conrad is one of the league's stalwarts.
Scouting the Fire: The Fire (8-11-8, 32 points) has won two of its last three matches, a turnaround that came too late to make the playoffs. Recent signee Bratislav Ristic has impressed wherever he's played.
