Kudos to Kane County Board

This is one taxpayer who is cheering the Kane County Board for digging in its heels in the funding squabble with Clerk of the Circuit Court Deb Seyller. In my opinion, government has been conditioned to getting whatever it insists it should have because it's been on the revenue “gravy train" until the economy went south.

People are out of work, businesses have closed, and the Kane County Board is doing exactly what government should do; put the brakes on spending.

Additionally, the constraints the Kane County Board put on red light cameras is the next best thing to banning them.

No, I have not, nor has anyone in my family, been cited by a red-light camera.
