McHenry County offering flu shots

The McHenry County Department of Health is offering flu vaccinations for children ages 4 to 18. The injections are provided by the state-funded Vaccines for Children program.

An intranasal vaccine is also available for children 2 or older. Appointments must be made for the following clinics: 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 14 or 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 20. Both clinics will be held at 2200 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock; 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. or 1 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 12 or 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. or 1 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at 100 N. Virginia St., Crystal Lake.
