Palatine's Hotel Indigo not part of $27 million foreclosure suit

Reports that Hotel Indigo in Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood was hit with a $27 million foreclosure lawsuit are unrelated to Hotel Indigo in Palatine.

Staff at the 191-room Palatine hotel said it's owned and operated by the Bricton Group in Park Ridge.

The owner of the Gold Coast property, which according to the complaint stopped making its monthly loan payments back in January, is affiliated with the Chicago-based Neighborhood Development Corp.
