Welcome to the new dailyherald.com
Paddock Publications, publishers of the Daily Herald and Reflejos, welcomes you to the new-look of DailyHerald.com. Over the next several days we will be updating our Web site to provide you with new functionality and an enhanced user experience.
The latest version of the site, already frequented by 1.4 million unique visitors each month, represents a significant step forward in not only the presentation, but also in the organization, performance and functionality.
First and foremost, the new DailyHerald.com puts more focus on the suburban communities where you live, work and play. There's not only more local content, but you can personalize the information by creating or updating your existing account at my.dailyherald.com/account. Each town also has its own community resource guide, with maps, general info, historic photos, local government contacts and more.
You also have the ability to share your own photos and stories with us, which will be published online and many in the paper. You can submit articles, photos, and events at www.dailyherald.com/share.
Speaking of sharing, you'll also see, across the entire site, integration of social media like Twitter and Facebook. You can not only Tweet out a story, but you can see if any of your Facebook friends liked it as well.
You'll also find more maps and mashups, better use of video and graphics, and easier ways to find stories you'll be interested in.
So click around and tell us what you think. We'll be refining and expanding a lot of what you see in the next week, so help shape your trusted source for suburban news. Please send all communication to newsite@dailyherald.com.
