Illinois man killed in I-94 pickup crash in N.D.

BISMARCK, N.D. -- The Highway Patrol has identified an Illinois man who died in a pickup truck crash in North Dakota's Burleigh County.

Authorities say the pickup driven by 61-year-old John Gesell (geh-ZEHL') of Somonauk, Ill., went out of control on Interstate 94 shortly before 7:30 a.m. Monday, struck a guard rail and rolled.

Gesell was alone in the vehicle.
