Hanover Park cops probe robbery
Hanover Park police said they're investigating a robbery that took place Tuesday afternoon at a currency exchange.
Police said one person was injured inside a payday loan business on the 7400 block of Barrington Road in the Westview Shopping Center. He is expected to be OK.
Hanover Park Deputy Police Chief Tim Cortese declined to say the manner in which the man was hurt. He said police are still determining the victim's relationship to the store.
He also wouldn't confirm police scanner reports that a shooting took place.
Calls placed to the business were not answered.
