Driver sought in Arlington Heights hit and run

Arlington Heights police are searching for information regarding a hit and run that occurred at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, police officials said.

Cmdr. Doug Hajek of the Arlington Heights Police Department said a Black Lincoln LS struck a maroon Toyota Camry at the intersection of Eastman and Evergreen roads in Arlington Heights.

The Lincoln suffered serious front-end damage and a blown front tire in the crash, Hajek said. The driver of the Lincoln then fled the scene and headed south on Arlington Heights Road, Hajek said.

There were no injuries in the hit and run, Hajek said. Damage estimated on the Toyota were unknown Friday morning.
