Don't assume any victories on Nov. 2
From the time that I write this letter to the time of the midterm elections we will be inundated with information regarding each candidate. Has anyone else noticed the media machine telling us the tidal wave that is coming to wipe out the Democrats in November? This is seemingly good news for a conservative like myself; however, one must dig deeper into the story to find the true message.
It occurred to me that perhaps what conservatives in particular are being told by many in the media is that this is a slam dunk and that the margin of victory will be so great that we should be in no hurry to get to the polls. If enough of us on the right believe this, then we may wake up the day after the election and wonder what happened. That is why it is so important for us to ignore whatever we hear from the media and get out to vote for what/who we believe in.
This election will be a pivotal. We must all ask ourselves if our elected officials are part of the solution or part of the problem. We cannot sustain the amount of spending outlined by the Obama regime without expecting to become the largest Third World country on the globe. Let's do something about it while we still can!
