Better to have remained silent
Robert Graham's ignorance of civics is astounding, but then again it furthers his own political agenda, so it's not surprising. All too common these days to send facts to Dante's inferno to service one's ideology.
First: Obama was a member of the Senate, not the House (the one thing he got right is that all revenue bills must originate in the House). Second: President Bush had something called a "veto," which he could have utilized if he indeed wanted to put a stop to the spending. Mr. Bush elected to sign the spending bills. Note that only seven vetoes were successfully overridden in the past 20 years of 94 total.
