Heritage Fest a rousing success

Recently the village of West Dundee celebrated the 13th annual Heritage Fest. This year's celebration may not have enjoyed picture perfect weather, but the residents of the Dundee area community and beyond still came out to experience the weekend's events.

During the celebration many people commented on the high quality of entertainment, events and attractions. As a village and event committee, we have worked hard to provide something for nearly everyone.

This event would not be possible without the efforts of the many volunteers who help to plan for the many events and activities months in advance and also help operate the various booths.

Lastly, thanks to the many people who came to the fest individually or with their families and friends to enjoy Heritage Fest and bring the community together.
