Handi-Ramp debuts horse ramp

Libertyville-based Handi-Ramp, a ramp manufacturer, Monday said it has introduced a portable aluminum horse-mounting ramp that allows disabled individuals a safe and easy way to mount a horse as part of their equine-assisted therapy.

Designed to replace current stationary wooden ramps, the lightweight Handi-Ramp Horse Mounting Ramp can be assembled at any location in less than five minutes by two people without the use of tools.

The ramp has ten components -- a platform, two ramp sections and rails which fit easily into the back of a standard pickup truck.
