Dold, Keats, Harris to keynote Palatine Twp. GOP meeting

The Palatine Township Republican Organization will hold their regular monthly meeting which is open to the public on October 2nd starting at 9 a.m. at the PTRO office at 839 N. Quentin Road in Palatine.

"With the election a little more than a month away, we want to keep the community informed on issues that will effect them on a local, statewide and national level," said Aaron Del Mar, Palatine Township Republican Committeeman. "We'll also keep everyone informed on all the races and the opportunities that are available for their involvement. This month's speakers will include Robert Dold, David Harris and Roger Keats."

On a federal level, Robert Dold is running for a seat in the 10th Congressional District against Democratic candidate Dan Seals. The 10th Congressional District encompasses the North and Northwest suburbs.

David Harris is running as a State Representative for the 66th District in Illinois against Democrat Mark Walker. The 66th District covers portions of Arlington Heights, Rolling Meadows, Elk Grove Village and Mt. Prospect.

PTRO will also have one speaker on the local level. Roger Keats is the Republican candidate for Cook County Board President. He is running against Democratic candidate Toni Preckwinkle.

Founded in 2010 by newly elected Palatine Township Republican Committeeman Aaron Del Mar, PTRO coordinates the Republican Party's efforts in the township. Led by Del Mar, Committeewoman Sharon Langlotz-Johnson and President Collin Corbett, PTRO promotes the foundational principles of the Republican Party, namely fiscal responsibility, personal accountability and limited, transparent government, and works to elect Republican candidates who espouse those principles.
