Be careful what you wish for
OK, I get it. People are outraged and want to take out their anger on the career politicians who work inside the Beltway. But Christine O'Donnell? Puh-lease.
Like most people I want to see better results from Congress and this administration, but that doesn't mean I want nitwits with odd conservative agendas running the country.
During the last presidential election I wanted to pull my hair out when people would say things like: "I'm supporting Sarah Palin because she seems just like me." It didn't matter that she had none of the knowledge, skills or experience to be second in command. As long as she came across as dumb or dumber than the average Joe she was getting those votes.
The same seems to hold true for the band of misfits she has endorsed. Yes, they have won some primaries and I suppose the very un-silent minority called the ta party will vote for them in November. But, as they say, be careful what you wish for.
