Palatine HS embracing Hispanic Heritage Month

Palatine High School's Hispanic Heritage Committee is in the midst of commemorating Hispanic Heritage Month, Sept. 15-Oct. 15, at the school. Weekly educational meetings are being run by the Social Studies department, and students are decorating showcases, taking a field trip to the Mexican Fine Arts Museum, and reciting quotes in both English and Spanish from famous Latino people during the school's morning announcements.
