Howell, Lisle win in OT

Ty Howell had a career night. It meant a Lisle victory.

The Lions traveled to Dwight and won 34-27 in overtime on Howell's 6-yard touchdown catch from quarterback Nick Saul.

Howell, a 6-foot junior tight end, caught 7 passes for 130 yards with 2 touchdown receptions.

After Howell's catch in overtime, Lisle defensive end Terrance Allen caused a Dwight fumble recovered by linebacker Pat Heatherly to clinch the Interstate Eight Conference Small Division win for Lisle (2-3, 2-1). Dwight fell to 1-4, 1-2.

Saul completed 16 of 27 passes for 200 yards, with a touchdown pass to Anthony Ventrella.
