Overlooked after 37 trips to Washington
It warmed my heart to read in the Sept. 9 Daily Herald, "Telling of some stories relies on readers' reason" by Jim Slusher that he made mention of the media completely overlooking 50,000 people gathering in the nation's capitol to speak up for the right for life (opponents of abortion rights, as Jim stated). Yet, one man threatening to burn Korans is given front page coverage in all the news outlooks across the country. People of all ages have been traveling to Washington D.C. each year for 37 years to raise an awareness of life and they continue to be overlooked. Thanks, Jim, for noticing.Constance (Connie) Earl Lombard
